Complaints made under Public Interest Disclosure and Protection of Informers Resolution are terms as PIDPI Complaints.
The Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) is authorized, as the Designated Agency, to receive written complaints or disclosure on any allegation of corruption or of misuse of office by any employee of the Central Government or of any corporation established by or under any Central Act, Government companies, societies or local authorities owned or controlled by the Central Government under the Public Interest Disclosure and Protection of Informers (PIDPI). The disclosure or complaint shall contain as full particulars as possible and shall be accompanied by supporting documents or other mater.
The PIDPI complaint should be in a closed/ secured envelope and should be addressed to Secretary, Central Vigilance Commission, Satarkta Bhavan, Block-A, GPO Complex, INA, New Delhi-110023. The envelope should clearly be inscribed with “Complaint under the Public Interest Disclosure” or “PIDPI”
To protect the complainant, the identity of the complainant is kept confidential. The PIDPI complainant should give his/her name and address in the beginning or end of complaint or in an attached letter. The name and address should NOT be mentioned on the envelope.
