In Pawan Hans, HRD Department at Corporate Office conducts / arranges In-House training and appreciation programme for employees periodically besides sponsoring employees for training programmes and conferences being conducted by leading Institutes in order to upliftment of their skill and knowledge, as under
- Imparting training to Executives and Non-Executives through various specialized training programmes organized by Department of Personnel & Training, Department of Public Enterprises, Standing Conference of Public Enterprises and other leading professional institutes including other Public Sector Undertakings etc as per a scheme wherein executives are sponsored once in 2 years and nonexecutives once in 3 years.
- Sponsoring executives for training programmes under various Govt. of India and other countries sponsored scheme such as Commonwealth, Colombo Plan etc according to the vacancy allotted to Pawan Hans.
- In-House training programmes are conducted for employees on general subjects such as ISO-9000, Supervisory Development Programme, Leadership Skills, Positive Attitude, etc on ad-hoc / need basis.
- Lectures / video shows are organized at region and Corporate Office on HRD activity where eminent speakers in the field of management are invited to deliver the lectures on topics such as customer satisfaction, communication skills, inter-personal relations, healthy industrial relations, flight safety etc.
- The Company is also having a Aviation Training School where employees in technical category appearing for DGCA examination for acquiring of AME licences are imparted training as per DGCA approved courses on need basis.
- The Company is also providing simulator training to flying crew.
