Pawan Hans has deployed helicopters in this region for passenger services, medical evacuation and VIP transportation in NE states such as Sikkim, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland etc. Pawan Hans had also been provided helicopter to BSF and BRO for carrying their men & materials to far flung areas of Arunachal Pradesh.

PHL is also providing helicopter services to NTPC, Govt. of Himachal Pradesh, Govt. of Maharastra, Govt. of Odisha and many more for the transportation of passengers, medical evacuation, law & order surveillance and VIP transportation and many more.

Operation And Maintinance

Apart from Operating & maintaining of own helicopters, Pawan Hans is also providing its man and machinery in the business of operating and maintaining Dhruv ALH helicopters of MHA(BSF) in Raipur, Ranchi and Agartala.

Scheduled Services

Pawan Hans has been awarded 11 routes in various states for carrying out scheduled services by helicopters under RCS UDAN II. Towards this PHL (SCO) was formed and scheduled services have commenced in Himachal Pradesh. These services have been introduced by Govt of India to connected remote locations in Hilly terrain to underserved heliports and airports.
